BRANTFORD, Ont. -- Provincial police say three people are injured after a vehicle allegedly evading a RIDE check collided with a car.
Police say the collision occurred late Friday night in Brantford, Ont., after a black stolen pickup truck attempted to evade a RIDE check at Maple Avenue and Concession Road 8.
Officers pursued the truck into Brantford where it collided with a car at the intersection of Colborne Street and Gilikison Street.
The two occupants of the car were injured and taken to hospital, as was an occupant of the pickup.
Police say the second occupant of the pickup fled on foot but was apprehended a short time later by a Brantford police canine team.
Provincial police say the Special Investigations Unit is probing the incident
