Information is coming to light about one item believed to have been found in Millard’s hangar at Region of Waterloo International Airport.

A Toronto resident who does not want his name used tells CTV News that he listed his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for sale online in 2012.

He decided to take the ad down after having second thoughts about people coming to his home to view the motorcycle.

Not long after the ad was pulled down, the $35,000 motorcycle and a black trailer disappeared from the man’s driveway.

The man tells CTV News that Hamilton police called him last week to inform him that the bike was found in the Millard Air hangar – though it has lost its frame and been repainted.

The bike’s VIN numbers were also scratched off.

Police confirm that pieces of the motorcycle were found in the hangar.

Millard is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Tim Bosma, who had listed his vehicle for sale online and was last seen May 6, leaving his Ancaster home with two men for a test drive.

Police have also been investigation possible connections between Millard, the disappearance of Laura Babcock, his former girlfriend, last year and the death – initially ruled a suicide – of his father last winter.

The investigation into Millard has also taken police to Manitoulin Island, where OPP are searching a yacht that Millard allegedly rented and returned with stains of blood needing to be cleaned up.

In an email to CTV News, Discovery Yacht Charters owner Chris Blodgett says he noticed a small amount of blood on the boat during a maintenance checkup.

After Millard claimed it was his girlfriend’s menstrual blood, Blodgett says he forgot about the incident until Millard’s name surfaced in connection with Bosma’s death.

Thursday evening, police announced that any concerns over the blood in the yacht were unfounded and the blood is not believed to have been the result of criminal activity.

Deepak Paradkar, Millard’s lawyer, called the yacht story sensationalist.

“Obviously if he felt something untoward had happened, he would have called the authorities back then,” he said.

Toronto police have returned to Millard’s farm on Roseville Road south of Kitchener after staying away from the area Wednesday due to weather concerns.

They were seen digging holes on the property, including one approximately five feet deep/

Police say their investigation at the farm – the same location where Bosma’s burned body and an incinerator were found – is related to Babcock’s disappearance.
