A small section of Weber Street will be closed for most of the month, necessitating a big detour for drivers in north Waterloo.
Starting July 11, Weber will be closed between Dutton Drive and Albert Street for Ion-related construction.
The closure is expected to last for three weeks.
Regional transportation officials recommend traffic detour around the closure via Weber, Parkside Drive, Bearinger Road and Albert.
Pedestrians will be able to get around the closure, and access to businesses in the area will be maintained.
