The province has launched an inquest into the death of Norman Laberge, who died during the Goderich tornado.

Laberge, 61, was killed on the job at the Sifto salt mines. He was the only person who died, when the F-3 tornado tore apart Goderich last August.

On Monday, the Ministry Of Community Safety and Correctional Services announced the inquest into his death.

It will start in February 11, 2013 at the Goderich courthouse. It’s expected to last five days and a jury will hear from more than a dozen witnesses.
