Police executing search warrant in Brantford

People living in a Brantford neighbourhood may notice officers in the area this evening.
In a social media post sent out at 3:38 p.m. Wednesday, Brantford Police Service said officers are in the Sheridan Street and Murray Street area to execute a search warrant.
They said there is no threat to public safety but officers may be in the area into the evening.
The public is being asked to avoid the area while police work.
