The U.S. Coast Guard was called in to help in the rescue of an Ontario man near Chatham-Kent.
The man was riding an ATV off Mitchell’s Bay when he became stranded.
The Rescue Coordination Centre in Trenton called the Coast Guard in to help with the rescue. They redirected helicopters already in the air.
