One man is facing several charges in connection to multiple commercial break-and-enters.

Waterloo Regional Police say between Dec. 9 and 10, a man broke into four businesses in Waterloo Region, one on Sydney Street in Kitchener and three in Cambridge on Eagle Street, Hespeler Road and Holiday Inn Drive.

“In each of the break-ins, a rock was used to smash a glass door and gain entry, and property and cash were stolen,” police said in a media release. “WRPS’ Break, Enter, and Vehicle Theft Team subsequently identified the male and determined he had been arrested in Guelph on December 11, 2024, after breaking into a business.”

A 37-year-old man has been charged with four counts of break and enter – commit theft.
