One woman was injured Tuesday morning when fire broke out at a home in Canfield, east of Cayuga.
Haldimand County OPP say the fire was discovered around 10:30 a.m. at a home on Highway 3, also known as Talbot Road.
The woman was able to get out of the home under her own power, and was treated by paramedics for non-life-threatening injuries.
Firefighters remained at the scene for several hours, while the highway remained closed on either side of Canfield until around 4 p.m.
Damage from the fire is estimated at $300,000. It is not considered suspicious.
