Home under construction targeted by thieves: OPP

The Brant County Ontario Provincial Police is investigating after $29,000 worth of property was stolen from a residential construction site in the County of Brant.

Police say some time between Dec. 19 and 20, unknown individual(s) forcibly entered a home on McLean School Road and removed a Honda generator and a quantity of tools.

Police say a theft was reported at the same location on Monday.

“Some time between Dec. 22, 2024, at 11 a.m. and Dec. 23, 2024 at 10 a.m., unknown person(s) attended the address and removed a flat bed trailer from the property,” police said in a media release.

The investigation is ongoing. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
