Driver going 156 km/h in 40 km/h zone facing multiple charges in Kitchener

One person is facing multiple charges, including stunt driving, after a single vehicle collision in Kitchener.

On Dec. 11, at around 2:35 a.m., first responders were called to the intersection of Pinnacle Drive and Thomas Slee Drive for reports of the collision.

Police said that on Wednesday Dec. 18, the driver of the vehicle involved was charged with dangerous operation, failing to wear his seatbelt, speeding 156 km/h in a 40 km/h zone and two counts of stunt driving.

The investigation continues.
