A B.C. man will have to travel a long way for a court date after he was allegedly caught speeding southeast of Milverton.
Perth County OPP say they were patrolling Perth Road 119 in Brunner early Tuesday morning.
Around 3:30 a.m., an officer saw a car travelling at an “extremely high” speed – radar pegged it at 155 km/h.
The speed limit in Brunner is 60 km/h.
The officer pulled over the car and charged its driver, a 20-year-old man from Langley, B.C., with racing a motor vehicle.
His vehicle was impounded and driver’s licence suspended for seven days.
