A three-vehicle crash closed King Street in east Kitchener for several hours on Friday morning.

The crash happened shortly before 9 a.m. in the area of Grand River Hospital’s Freeport Site.

Waterloo Region police say an eastbound vehicle crossed the centre line and collided with two oncoming cars.

Four people were taken to hospital, including three adults and a child, but none of the injuries are believed to be serious.

There is no word yet on charges.
