The man charged in Waterloo Region's biggest fraud case made a brief court appearance this morning to set a date for a preliminary hearing.
Fifty-two year old Daniel P Reeve is charged with defrauding approximately 175 people, and its estimated they lost around $30-million though their investments with Reeve.
Mary Cremer has been retained as his lawyer, and she says Reeve definitely intends to fight the charges.
Reeve was a financial advisor based in Cambridge. He was arrested in Collingwood in late July and remains behind bars. He’s back in court on December 18th.
