One person has been charged with careless driving in connection with a four-vehicle crash that sent one man to hospital.
The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on Northumberland Street north of Ayr, near Greenfield Road.
According to Waterloo Regional Police, a northbound vehicle was rear-ended while attempting to make a left turn, pushing it into southbound traffic where it hit two other vehicles.
The crash resulted in one person being taken to hospital with leg injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that hit the northbound vehicle has been charged with careless driving.
