Police are investigating a three-vehicle collision in Simcoe which left one person dead.
The crash occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Tuesday, on Queensway West.
According to Norfolk County OPP, an eastbound silver vehicle was waiting to turn left into a driveway when it was hit from behind by a black pickup truck.
The collision sent the silver vehicle into the westbound lanes of the road, where it was hit by a westbound blue pickup truck.
The 65-year-old man driving the silver vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was identified Wednesday as Richard Wood, a resident of Norfolk County.
Four people in the blue pickup truck, including two young children, were taken to hospital as a precaution.
The driver of the black pickup truck was not injured.
Police say charges are pending as they continue their investigation.
