A traffic headache for thousands of drivers on the 401 through Puslinch Saturday morning after two tractor trailers collided.
Police say a man and a woman in their fifties from Quebec had to be airlifted to hospital. Their injuries are not considered life threatening.
Traffic was shut down temporarily on both sides of the highway. Some motorists say they were stuck on the 401 for nearly three hours.
A 65-year-old man from Quebec has been charged with careless driving. Police are still investigating and are asking any witnesses to come forward.
