Norfolk County OPP is asking for help from the public in identifying a suspicious vehicle after an incident Tuesday evening.
Around 1 p.m. on Thursday, police were called by a concerned parent after a child was followed by an unknown vehicle.
After investigating, police say a young girl was walking near Norfolk County Road 19 East, around 5 p.m. Tuesday. They say she saw a sandy coloured Ford Taurus driving by her slowly on several occasions.
The girl immediately returned home and saw the vehicle follow her, then park on the street outside of her home.
After her parents found out what happened, they walked toward the car to talk to the driver. The car then fled from the area in an unknown direction.
The man in the car is described as white, 30 to 40 years of age with a heavy build.
Norfolk County OPP is continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man and vehicle involved.
