Damage is estimated at $30,000 following a fire at a Baden residence.
Crews were called to an apartment in the residence, located in the village on Snyder’s Road, Tuesday morning in response to a stove fire.
Gas to the building was shut off as a precaution as firefighters from Baden and New Hamburg worked to extinguish the flames.
One person was taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
