A kid show called “Terrific Trucks save Christmas” produced for NBC’s Sprout Cable network is being shot in Cambridge.
Parts of downtown Cambridge have been strung with lights, wreaths and Christmas decoration for the animated movie that has trucks teach life lessons.
The production team chose downtown Cambridge, in part because of its architecture. The historic three and four storey buildings match the size of the trucks.
Crews are expected to be filming until Friday, in the Queens Square and Main Street bridge area, between the hours of 7am and 8pm.
