A man who brought his resume into a Brantford store didn’t get the job, and was ordered to never come back to the store again.

Brantford Police say they were contacted Tuesday by employees of the Colborne Street business.

According to police, applying for a job was actually the man’s second visit to the store on the day.

The first time around, they say, he had taken a cordless drill off of a shelf and walked out without paying for it.

Information from the man's resume helped the store's employees piece together who he was, after which they called police.

A 28-year-old man has been issued a trespass order, meaning he is legally prohibited from returning to the store.
