SOUTH HURON, Ont. - Huron County OPP are investigating a fatal accident involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck hauling a trailer.
It happened last night around 10 o'clock at the intersection of Highway 4 and Crediton Road.
Investigators say the pickup made a left turn onto the highway directly in the path of a Kawasaki motorcycle.
The man at the controls of the bike, 62-year old Don Horwood of London, was pronounced dead at the scene, and his passenger, 59-year old Donna Horwood, sustained major injuries.
She's being treated at a London hospital.
The pickup driver, 57-year old Brian Stack of Wingham, wasn't injured, but police have charged Stack with failing to yield to traffic, and failing to surrender his licence. He's due in court in Goderich on September 15 to answer to the charges.
