A gyrocopter landed in a farmer’s field near Maryhill on Thursday after losing power.
Emergency crews, including firefighters from several stations, were called to a farm on Woolwich-Guelph Townline north of Highway 7 just before 2:30 p.m. in response to a situation involving an aircraft.
Despite losing power due to an exhaust issue, the gyrocopter was able to make a safe landing in the field.
Neither of the two people aboard the gyrocopter were injured.
