Grand River Hospital has lifted a visiting restriction at its integrated stroke unit.
The restriction went into effect due to an outbreak of Norovirus on December 14th.
Two patients and 11 staff members who developed symptoms of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, and have since recovered.
The hospital is asking all visitors to wash their hands regularly to help reduce the risk of passing on an infection.
