The case of a person found dead in Guelph on Tuesday is not considered suspicious, police say.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the Howitt Park area off of Beechwood Avenue shortly after 8 a.m. Tuesday.
A person using the trail had called 911 after coming across the person’s body.
The trail and part of a bushy area along the park was closed for several hours as police investigated the death.
The area was reopened late Tuesday afternoon, with Guelph Police saying the adult woman’s death is not considered suspicious.
Further information was not immediately available.
