Within two years, GO buses and trains won’t just be cousins – they’ll be neighbours.
Construction on a bus maintenance and storage facility started Friday at a site in east Kitchener.
Once complete, the facility will have room for up to 20 buses at any one time.
Located at 200 Shirley Avenue, the GO bus yard will be next to the nightly layover facility for GO trains.
It is scheduled to open in the spring of 2018.
