A stretch of King Street was shut down on Thursday evening for a fire investigation.
A vehicle caught fire at B and B Auto Service in downtown Kitchener.
Several fire trucks were called to the scene to deal with the blaze.
King Street was closed between Stirling Avenue and Borden Avenue while crews battled the blaze.
There are no reports of any injuries.
