Brantford Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Petro Canada Gas Station.

Just before 1 a.m. on Boxing Day, a lone man entered the store on Clarence Street and Erie Avenue, carrying a handgun and demanded money from the store clerk according to police.

He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say the clerk was not injured.

The suspect was last seen on foot, northbound on Clarence Street according to police.

He is described as a non-white male, in his mid to late twenties, wearing a black hoodie with a grey trim, a ski mask, black jeans and black running shoes.

Any witnesses are asked to contact police.
