Huron County OPP are investigating a crash that killed two men early Saturday morning.
Emergency crews were called Bluewater Highway 21 at Schadeview Road after receiving a report of a collision between a pickup truck and car around 6:30 a.m.
The drivers of both vehicles were pronounced dead at the scene.
They’ve been identified as Robert Vander Gaag, 32, of Chatham and Lee Kirwan, 50, of Wyoming.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
Police say their preliminary investigation has determined that the pickup truck crossed the centre line and collided head on with the car.
The highway was closed for several hours while police investigated, but has now re-opened.
