Guelph Police are searching for three suspects following a robbery at a Stone Road restaurant.

The robbery occurred at the Subway across from Stone Road Mall around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

According to police, three men entered the restaurant – one of them brandishing a knife – and made off with cash.

It is believed the lone employee working inside the restaurant was ordered into the back of the store by the robbers.

“They did use force in doing that,” said Const. Mike Gatto.

The employee was said to be injured, but not seriously, as a result of the incident.

Police describe their suspects as three men in their early 20s with slim builds, 5’8” to 5’10” tall.

“Two of them are described as black males and the other one was described as being either Caucasian or Hispanic,” said Gatto.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-824-1212 ext. 7343 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
