A 60-year-old Cambridge man is charged with second-degree murder following the death of his wife.
Waterloo Regional Police say the woman was found dead inside her Cambridge home around 2:45 a.m. Monday, following a 911 call from inside the home.
She was identified later in the day as 63-year-old Linda Sauve.
Clark Sauve, 60, was arrested at the scene – his home on Rouse Avenue.
He was formally charged with murder Monday in a Kitchener court and returned to custody, and will appear in court again next week.
Police say there are no concerns for public safety and no further arrests are expected.
A post-mortem examination will take place in Hamilton.
