The Ontario Provincial Police are now investigating after a serious crash in Norfolk County.
Just before noon, police say they responded to an accident at Cockshutt Road and Concession 13.
Police say a grey vehicle being driven by a 62-year-old Quebec man, was travelling eastbound on Concession 13 when it entered the intersection and collided with a pick-up truck that was travelling southbound.
As a result, the pick-up truck being driven by a 26-year-old St. Catharines man, rolled several times, and the driver was ejected, according to police.
He suffered life threatening injuries and was later transported from a local hospital to Hamilton Health Sciences Hospital.
The driver of the grey vehicle was not injured.
Cockshutt Road between Concession 12 and Concession 14, and Concession 13 between Cockshutt Road and Old Mahoney Road will be closed for three hours as police investigate.
A few metres away at Blueline Road and Concession 12, a second crash occured according to police.
The driver of a motorcycle was airlifted to hospital with life threatening injuries.
