Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a fatal hit and run in Cambridge.
Police believe two different vehicles hit a man on Cedar Street around 6 p.m.
One of them, a white Ford pickup truck, fled from the scene. Police say it had a cap on the back and the driver’s side mirror was damaged.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
People who live in the area were left in shock.
“I think it’s awful. Somebody’s expecting that man to get home.”
