Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Waterloo

Authorities say a driver ran a red light and hit a pedestrian in Waterloo’s university district Tuesday evening.

It happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of University Avenue and Phillip Street.

The male pedestrian was treated for minor injuries.
