There is not believed to be any significant damage following a fire at Conestoga Mall.
Police and Waterloo Fire Department officers were called to the mall at 3 a.m. Sunday in response to a report of a fire.
Police say the likely cause of the fire is a mechanical malfunction in the roof ducts, which led to smoke being released into the mall’s corridors.
Nobody was injured in the fire.
