Investigation into Cambridge robbery involving weapon underway: police

Waterloo Regional police are investigating after a Cambridge business was robbed with a weapon Monday afternoon.

At around 3 p.m., police were called to a business in the area of Franklin Boulevard and Elgin Street North.

Police said the robbery happened on Sunday at around 7 p.m. An unknown man entered the business and threatened staff with an unidentified edged weapon. Police said the man took store merchandise and ran away.

No one was hurt.
