A house fire in Guelph is under investigation, according to fire officials.
Flames broke out at a home on Elizabeth Street at approximately 10:25 a.m. on Friday.
Upon arrival, fire crews saw large amounts of smoke coming from the back of the house.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
Elizabeth Street was closed for two hours during the fire and investigation.
The Ontario Fire Marshall is investigating.
