Fire alarm pulled at Guelph City Hall, man arrested

A Guelph man is facing multiple charges after a fire alarm was pulled at Guelph City Hall.

Guelph Police said a man was arguing with city staff around 9:30 a.m. Friday. As he left the building, he pulled the fire alarm.

The man was found nearby and arrested. During a search, officers found suspected methamphetamine.

A 32-year-old Guelph man has been charged with making a false alarm, possessing a controlled substance and breaching a probation order.
