Huron County OPP say they’ve spoken to the driver of the vehicle that fatally struck Jordan Moorehead.
Moorehead, 27, was hit by a car Monday night while walking along Amberley Road near the community of Bluevale, east of Wingham.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and pronounced dead Tuesday afternoon.
The vehicle involved in the crash allegedly left the scene immediately following the crash, although police say they found a passenger-side mirror and some glass debris left behind.
Police said Wednesday that they had been in contact with the driver involved in the crash.
Whether that person will be charged with any offence remains unknown, police said, pending further investigation
