Brantford Police are continuing to search for a man who they say was mistakenly released from custody.

31-year-old Daniel Lee McCue was released from the court facility in Brantford around 5:00 pm on Thursday.

McCue is wanted for impersonation with intent and escape lawful custody.

Police warn that anyone who maybe helping McCue with accommodations or financial support is at risk of facing serious criminal charges.

McCue is described as white, 6’1” tall, thin build, with a shaved head, scruffy face and tattoos on the back and both sides of his neck. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey shirt and grey hoody.

Police are also warning the public to not approach him, but to contact them if you see him.
