Two alleged assaults at Kitchener’s prison for women are under investigation, Waterloo Regional Police say.
According to police, both incidents occurred in late February at the Grand Valley Institution for Women.
Both incidents are described as minor assaults.
A spokesperson for the Correctional Service of Canada tells CTV News any use of force incidents at the prison are investigated, and would not comment further citing the ongoing investigation.
