Staff and students will be able to return to Franklin Public School on Thursday.
The school was closed Tuesday morning after a pipe burst in a ceiling, flooding various areas of the Kitchener school with water.
Cleanup efforts began quickly, but were extensive enough that the school remained closed Wednesday.
In a statement, Waterloo Region District School Board officials said the school would reopen Thursday and thanked the school community for its patience.
