The Victoria Day long weekend is considered an unofficial kick-off to summer.   Here’s a look at what’s open and closed around Waterloo Region.

  • Grand River Transit will be running on a Sunday schedule.
  • Garbage, green bin and recycling will be picked up Monday.
  • All grocery stores are closed
  • All LCBO and Beer Stores are closed.
  • Conestoga Mall, Fairview Park Mall and the Cambridge Centre are all closed.
  • All libraries across the region are closed.
  • The Waterloo Regional Museum and TheMuseum are open.
  • Businesses in the village of St. Jacobs are open.
  • All government offices are closed.
