Police have released the name of the woman killed in crash west of Wallenstein on Friday.
Around 2:30 p.m., a minivan drove through a stop sign at Line 86 and Manser Road/Wellington Road 12. The minivan then hit a transport truck broadside.
The driver of the minivan, 46-year-old Michele Magennis of Hepworth, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 38-year-old Oliphant man, a passenger in the minivan, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the transport truck was not injured.
Police say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
Their investigation continues.
