Third charge in Campus Court arson investigation

Waterloo Regional police have charged a third person in connection with the April 2010 fire at the Campus Court Plaza in Waterloo.
William Schneider, 31, of Kitchener was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of arson - damage to property. He is being held in custody.
The arrest comes just two days after the first set of arrests in the case. On Tuesday, Daniel Campbell, 25, of Kitchener, and Lyntje Zinger, 24, of Hawkesville, were charged with arson – damage to property.
It has been just over a year since emergency personnel responded to an early morning fire at the Campus Court Plaza that caused approximately $4.5 million in damage.
A lengthy investigation by the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office and the Waterloo Regional Police Service had earlier concluded the cause of the fire was arson.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.
