A London man is facing almost a dozen charges, including multiple counts of trespassing at night, after a suspicious vehicle was spotted in a Kitchener neighbourhood.

Officers with the Waterloo Regional Police Service were called to the Deer Ridge Drive area on Tuesday around 1 a.m.

When they arrived, they found the vehicle, but the driver sped off. Officers searched the area and found the vehicle again at a nearby business on King Street East.

The driver took off, prompting a call to the WRPS canine team. The dogs were able to track down the suspect and he was then arrested.

A 27-year-old London has been charged with flight from police, dangerous operation of a vehicle, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and eight counts of trespassing at night.
