There will be no state of emergency declared in Kincardine, based on the health effects of wind turbines on people.
Anti-wind turbine activist Bill Palmer called on council to declare a state of emergency so that people can be protected against the health effects of wind turbines.
Palmer believes the municipality is within its right to make such a declaration and it would send a message to the province about the health concerns of those living near the turbines.
Mayor Larry Kraemer says the request meets none of the criteria for making such a declaration.
