Lawyers representing heavy truck manufacturer Navistar and its former employees will be in a Windsor courtroom Wednesday.
Navistar is asking the court to dismiss a class-action lawsuit by the workers over severance after it closed its Chatham facility.
The company is arguing that the court does not have the jurisdictional authority to hear the suit, whereas the plaintiffs believe that the case falls within the court's authority.
Navistar shuttered the Chatham heavy truck plant in June 2009 and officially announced its closure in August 2011.
