The finish line is drawing near for fans of the Amazing Race Canada.

There are just four teams left including two brothers from Kitchener.

In last week’s episode, Jody and Cory Mitic won first place while on a frigid trip to Canada’s north.

“It was a great experience.” says Cory.

The Amazing Race is a physically and emotionally gruelling experience.

Jody and Cory say one of the biggest challenges is spending so much time together but the brothers say it brought them closer.

“It’s either going to bring you really close or you’re going to kill each other and thankfully we’re still here.” Cory says.

An extra challenge for the team, Jody lost both legs as a sniper in Afghanistan.

“My prosthetics obviously were an issue but other than that it wasn’t that big a deal.” Jody tells CTV News.

The pair’s fan base has been growing along with their success and now that there are just four teams left, it’s an even tighter race to the finish.

The guys remain tight lipped about what happens next.

“I always say tune in Monday nights at 9 p.m. on CTV.” Jody says with a laugh.

When it’s all over, the Mitics say they’ll be back in their hometown of Kitchener for a visit and perhaps even for Oktoberfest.
