Guelph IBL baseball fans returned to Hastings Stadium Tuesday night, to pay tribute to longtime Royals' star Kevin Hinton.

The 44-year-old spent 23 seasons in the Royal City as a player and manager. He helped Guelph win four Major IBL titles and is the league's all-time RBI leader.

Hinton's contributions were recognized prior to a Barrie Baycats-London Majors game at Hastings Stadium. Hinton is now the Manager of the Baycats, who rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat the first-place Majors 6-3.

Sean Reilly paced the Barrie attack with two hits and two RBI. Matt Logan also drove in a pair of runs for the winners. Mac Harrison went 2-4 with two RBI for London.

The loss drops the Majors to 13-3, while the Baycats improve to 12-4. Second-place Barrie pulls to within one game of first place atop the Major IBL standings.
