Drugs and stolen property seized during search in Brant County

Two people from Brant County are facing charges after police searched a home on Governors Road East.

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police from Brant County and Oxford County worked together to complete the search on Dec. 18.

They seized drugs and stolen property.

A 38-year-old was charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of an opioid (other than heroin) from the purpose of trafficking, altering/destroying/removing a vehicle identification number, fraudulent concealment and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

A 39-year-old was charged with two counts of failing to comply with a probation order, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of an opioid (other than heroin) for the purpose of trafficking, altering/destroying/removing a vehicle identification number, fraudulent concealment and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
